Default 5 point lap belt connection

Any ideas on the best way to anchor 5-point lap belts, used when taking the car to the track?

I don't like the idea of drilling a hole in the balsa wood floor.

And because I'm tall, if I put plates under the seat rails I'll be lacking headroom and knee-jamming the dash.

Are there other options?

George:

Brey-Krause has an excellent system to attach lap belts, the croutch belt and the shoulder belts. I have this hardware in my FRC along with Simpson belts, and they work great. Contact them at http://www.bkauto.com

We put the crossbar in with RJS 5 points and got the front center mount kit. It fits under the front seat and installs clean & neat. When not in use we pull the top belts through the seat top and they are out of the way. The lap belts hide behind the seat. No drilling or remounting of the seat.

I use the Brey~Krause harness bar and seat hardware. I recommend going with a 6 point harness versus the 5 point; with a 6 point you won't need the floor bracket for the crotch belt.

You can also get a fire bottle mount for the pass. side with the Cross Bar mount.
