Default 98 C5 Racetronics upgrade???

I am going to be installing a Racetronics pump and wiring kit in my 98 this weekend. I have no problems with the wiring but the part of actually installing the pump has me wondering. I cannot find any install information. I found info for the later C5 but not the early ones with a return style system and the pump assembly that lays down. Is it so easy a caveman can do it ?...Just kinda self explanatory once you get in there?

Yes it is that easy. Install the hotwire kit first, and use it to drain the tank.

Ok thanks, I already drained the tank using my hp tuner. Just used the vcm controls and forced the fuel pump on

I had the same question. Do we only need to cange the pump on the driver side. Driver side is held in by rivets, do you drill them out then clean out the tank? Has anyone done it?

If you look real close the rivets are not rivets atleast mine was not. It was a torque type screw that the head breaks off. Mine had just enough edge to get a wrench on them.
