Telescoping Wheel

My moms 99 Corvette's telescoping wheel stopped working, anyone know where to start looking to figure out the problem?

Start with the easy stuff first. Fuses, etc. Check the OM or fuse box cover for location and number. It will be in the pass. side toeboard fuse box. Go from there.

Btw, if her car has memory seats as well, did that function quit working as well? Wouldn't hurt to check those fuses too.

You know I think the memory seats might have quit working as well. I will have to check tomorrow. Thanks

Mine did that and the soft stops had set themselves. Keep hitting the button up to eight times and see if it starts moving again...

At the bottom of the seat to car wiring under the driver's seat there are two connectors. One is a 7-pin blue connector. Check to make sure its clean, dry and contacts making good connection. The power for the telescoping steering wheel goes through those pins. Try re-seating the connector and see if it comes to life. Pull your codes too.
