Default Fidanza aluminum flywheel

Can a fidanza aluminum flywheel be turned/re-surfaced? Will a LS7 clutch/pressure plate work with this flywheel?

Don't know the 2nd part of your question- but the friction surface unbolts and you can get another one.

I was told by a friend that in order to use a LS7 clutch, I would need a LS2/LS7 style flywheel because a LS7 clutch/pressure plate would not bolt up to an LS1 style flywheel. I didnt know if this were true or not. I run a fidanza aluminum flywheel w/a spec 3+ clutch. I'm wanting to get a LS7 clutch/pressure plate but I'm unsure as to wether it'll work with my fidanza flywheel or not.

LS7 pressure plate needs to be mated to a LS7 FW, but will then bolt into the C5. Why do you want a stock pressure plate?
