Hi Toque,
A ton of thanks for ALL the very helpful to-do's on your web site. It is very well done and must have taken a considerable amount of time. A must read for anyone new to this car. Sure has cleared up some doubt and questions I have had about things. That tire size page is tops!

Cheers to you buddy!

Toque,
I agree - great write up that I'm sure will help many! And, I really appreciate the links for the fluids you used to my dealership website.

For any who may be considering AMSOIL fluids, please drop me a PM so I can ensure you get dealer pricing, about 25% below retail, via the AMSOIL Preferred Customer Program.

Great write up Toque!

Both are on my to do list this winter, Thanks.
Just one question about the differential change, you added half the diff additive after the first quart, Is that all you used or did you add the rest when it was almost full?

thanks again

I just used about half of the "Slip Lock" after the first quart. Subdriver says you really don't need to add any at all. I just added half for a little security.

RaceRamps.... They are the bomb ! Weigh 1lb literally. Easy to store and more around.
I can't get my lowered car up on any other ramps.

Great write-up on your website Toque. Followed your lead and got the AMSoil fluids. I'm probably going to start using it in all my vehicles.

I recently did the fluid change on my '96 Impala. I had read that it may not need the additive. Mine needed it. It would chatter and cause some subtle jerking.

I sucked out some fluid and put in the additive. It works like normal now. I used the GM additive on that car, but I am also thinking of trying the AMSOIL products on my next projects.
