What is included in an LS1 "Long-Block"?
Just curious... what does GM include?

Melting Slicks
I would assume everything up to the heads..without heads of course.
block, crank, rods, main caps, rings, bearings, balancer, flexplate, pistons, oil pump and pickup, timing cover and seal, freeze plugs(oil pan maybe)...assembled. a cam is probably a few hundred extra

gm long block is usually a crate style engine and will have everything
"long blocks" as opposed to shortblocks are usually the shortblock plus the heads and valvetrain
