How much work is it to install new ractronix fuel pump in tank, replace the old one, and install the new racetronix wire harness...

in 2003+ fuel system version C5

is it rear cradle/suspension and tranny out or?

If your fuel pump is on top of the left tank, then you have the FFS fuel system. The driveline has to be removed to be able to remove the fuel tank. What is your fuel pressure dropping to at WOT at redline? Maybe a boost a pump will increase the output enough.

Russ Kemp

This article says you don't have to remove the driveline; http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/...el+Tank+System

Just finished my Racetronix pump harness install.

1.The Drive train went down

2. left tank needs to go down: needs to disconnect lines between the tanks (it´s disconnected on the left tank)

3. Disconnect hose on top of the left tank (the refill hose) and disconnect air hose there too

4. Disconnect fuel line and a plug

the tank is loose

5. Then it´s opening the tank up

6. taking the pump and acessories up out of the tank is very tight and stiff, but whith pation it´s will come up

7. then swapping pumps, plug n´d play, and clean it all well

8. Install again

it´s not a hard work, but offcousre this all takes time, if it´s the first time.
