You could always support the forum store - just a thought!
Sorry to hyjack this thread, BUT, I want a shade that has the logo on the underside, and visible when you raise the hatch.
This would mean that not only would it be on the underside, but "up-side-down" in order to be in the right position when the hatch is raised.
Any suggestions?
Embroidering a design on the underside so that it will be correctly oriented when the hatch is up would be no problem.
The problem is hiding the backside of the design which would be visible through the rear window. Look at the inside of an embroidered shirt and you get what I mean.
The best way to accomplish that is to sew a plain piece of material that is the same color as the base material over the back of the embroidered design. We do it all the time on single sided banners.
The other option is to embroider the design on both the cargo shade and the plain material and then sew them together so that the embroidered designs are back to back. That will give make the design visible from both sides. ie... a double sided flag.
The downside to this is the extra weight which "could" (I don't know) make the cargo shade sag and of course, the extra cost of having double the embroidery work done.
