AUX hook up for iphone/mp3 player??

Default AUX hook up for iphone/mp3 player??

just got the Iphone 4 and want to hook it up to the vette. i noticed there is an AUX button on the stock head unit. is there a connection in the back?

No, if you visit the audio forum there's alot of info on this subject. I changed out my head unit to a Kenwood X994 so I would have Bluetooth and Ipod connection. Their are a number of plug n play for the apple connection that you can do without changing out the HU.

Do you have a 12 disc cd changer in the trunk? If so, you can use this.



"GM10-AUX" is what you want. $60 or so. Unplug the 12 disc cd changer in the trunk. Plug this in, and get a RCA audio plug with the headphone jack at one end. All set to play any mp3 player. I got mine on that big auction site.

Press the aux button on the stereo till you 1...1, and select song or playlist from the mp3, zune, ipod, etc.

Even if you don't have a 12 disc changer,the wiring is there beside the fuse box in the rt frt floorboard to use the GM10-AUX.
