Default Separating Rear Diff from Tranny

Thanks to some great threads here and pictures, I have removed my Tranny and rear diff from my C5 Z06. I need to get my tranny serviced to repair a synchro.

I have the tranny and diff sitting on a bench but for some reason I cannot seem to separate them.

There are two bolts on the top and one on each side. The car has had 3:90 rear gear installed and a DTE brace so it has been out before and there is some kind of red sealant.

I did a search but didn't find anything. I thought this would be a simple job of prying them apart but I don't want to break anything so I did not force it at all.

Any suggestions or tips and tricks I should know?
Thanks in advance.

There is a bolt on the bottom in a recessed cavity. I actually think it's a nut on a stud. Then, you still might have to apply a little force to get it off.

That was it!! Thanks. In fact, before I read this, I went back into the garage and tipped the whole thing in its side and found it.

Now to get it fixed and all back together before the weather breaks.
Snow tomorrow.

Thanks very much for the response, I need to start to give back to this site, it's always there when I need help.
