Default Fixed my ABS/TC issues

After getting a light show on the dash when we hit a bump, I finally worked on the wheel speed sensor harnesses.

They came apart so easy, I thought the female plug might have lost tension and causing an open circuit when hitting a bump. Just a little twist of the male connector and reassembly was all it took.

Have driven it quite a bit in the last week, hitting every bump I could find and viola......no more problems.

Thanks so much for those of you who continually post your knowledge on what to look for and how to attack these things.

I know not all fixes are this easy, but just wanted to share my success and say thanks!!!

Marc

Nice find and fix - most of the time it turns out to be much mire and a more involved job

That's good to know! Mine came on after I hit a bump with the passenger front tire. Is this speed sensor harness easy to locate?

Default piece of cake to find

Yeah, piece of cake. Check your codes and it will point you in the direction of the offending corner. However I did all four just to make sure. The front harness can be fully removed and taken off the car. It hooks up to a female connector on the frame and a male on the hub assembly. The back is part of the car's harness and can not be removed. Just give them a quick twist, but not too much. When you reattach, you will notice they feel much more firm.

Worked for me......for now I suppose.
