Radio won't reconize ipod Interface
Just finished installing an Isimple ipod interface from double d mods. The one that hooks at the back of the radio. All conections have been checked. Ipod shows that it is chargin. Interface is at 3 and 8 at ON. Waitin for over 5 minutes to see if interface will reconize. But nothing! Even tried with a different ipod. I have an 80GB and also tried an older 30Gb. What else can I do? Help

I have this problem anytime the battery is disconnected. Here's what I do to fix the problem:
1) Turn the radio to FM and take out CD in head unit
2) Disconnect power to Ipod box
3) Reconnect power
4) push the CD button and have it synch to the ipod box
Once the head unit is synched to the Ipod box you are good to go until the next time the battery power is disconnected.

PM Dennis and ask him for some suggestions. He is usually real good about getting back to you. I had a couple of issues and he even responded when he was down with the flu. I can't offer any suggestions because I did mine through the CD player connection in the back of the car.
