I have 3 of 4 sensors with dead batteries. I had them remove the rears the other week when I was getting new tires anyway. I followed the procedures on this forum and replaced the batteries with the Digikey ones. I just went and had them re-installed and both registered on the DIC. At first neither of them worked and then they lit up! Unfortunatley, one of them tells me that I have low tire pressure. Any chance this will work itself out or am I just going to have to replace it? either way I am replacing both batteries in the other two this weekend.

Any chance the one that is reading low tire pressure had tire sealant run through it? If so it may have clogged the hole for the pressure sensor diaphram. There is a raised bump with a small hole in the center. That is where the pressure is being sensed. Don't stick anything in the hole or you will ruin the sensor. I assume you checked to make sure that you really don't have low tire pressure in that wheel.
Also, do yourself a favor and and program the sensors before you install them in the rim, and mount the tire. It won't guarantee that the sensor will read correctly, but at least you will know that it can be programmed.
EDIT: Full success Tire pressure sensor was working fine... Discount didnt re-seat the TPMS correctly and I had a flat when I left the office. The good news is that my battery replacement worked great
