Problems with Right Power Window
Hey guys I have a question I have had this issue before but it came back this spring when putting the car back on the road. I have driven it since the winter a couple of times and havent had a problem with the window until now.
The passender side window doesnt do down and I can hear clicking when i try to put it down. The codes I pulled on the car are:
U1016 Loss of Communication with PCM
U1064 Loss of Communication with BCM
U1096 Loss of Communication with IPC
I have changed the circuit breaker already (fixed the issue last time two winters ago) and it didnt fix it. I have also installed a new black box that goes inside the door (the name escapes me)
What are your thoughts it is driving me crazy!

Short and to the point. Remove the motor/reg.from the door. Make reference marks on the hardware so you can reinstall in the same position. Remove motor cover 4 screws and remove cover,clean out all of the black powder from the brushes with WD-40 and blow dry,check for brush wear. If brushes are still good reinstall regulator. Don't know where you can buy brushes if needed,sure some one on the forum can help in that dept. Couple of hours and the cost of the WD-40 ☺ Worked for me..

Just changes the window reg out on the drivers side today. I took plenty of photos to build a diy page. Heres a link to do it yourself.
