Hi all,
I drove my Vette yesterday to the mountains and upon getting in after my hike, I could smell distinct fuel inside the car. I also smelled it again today, after having it parked in my garage over night. Any clues as to why this would happen? No signs of leaks or anything underneath or in engine.

I just had a fuel leak fixed. It came from the crossover pipe for the dual fuel tanks. The hose clamps were not tight. Easy fix. Somehow the hose itself shrunk a little. I also did not have any puddles on the ground because I was told the fuel would evaporate before it hit the ground. The gasoline smell was coming from the drivers side rear wheel just behind the filler door. I had the entire rear cradle down for another task so it was easy to spot.
