As unbelievable as it seems Mallett SS LT Headers are resonably priced. Now the question I have is has anyone installed and were there any problems and what was the gain? :chevy
OK, go to www. stainlessworks.net they make headers for many top tuners (ahem, cough) and are the ones I am putting on my car. 304 low carbon stainless and less than $1K.
Your right, I downloaded the photo's of the TTS/TPIS and Mallet's headers and they are identical to one another! Weve all been buying the same headers from different sources. That makes the LGM long tubes the only true unique header.
Intersting isn't it and they all have different flange thickness also. Ive decided to go with Doug Rippies long tubes that are steel but coated inside and out. They also appear to be a different design. Thanks for the input. :chevy
Let us know how you make out with DRM's headers. They are 1 5/8 primaries which I think are too small for the Z06 but should still be better than stock for sure. I plan to dyno my stainless works headers to see the gains. If I get 15-20rwhp I'll be happy.
