Race Prepared

On occasion, my fuel door will not operate. The fuse is good, power to the solenoid. Pull the manual wire & the door opens, close the door and press the "open" button & it works fine. Have lubricated the fuel door at the latch and lubricated the locking pin. The service manual does not cover intermittent problems. Next step would be to replace the solenoid since all connections & grounds look good. Suggestions?
