I've had this service message come up before, but it was when I was having battery issues. I started getting this message again, so I decided to get a new battery as I've been putting that off for a while and just relying on my Tender to keep the old battery going.
Well, after installing a brand new DieHard Gold, the message is still there. Am I looking at a wheel hub/speed sensor issue here?
Want to avoid taking to the dealership if I can...any advice?

Come on man, you've been on here long enough......post those codes...
I'll try re-seating the connector on the module, and maybe hitting the brakes hard out on the road once or twice. If those don't work, I guess I've got to pull the damn thing.

If you can make a C1214 code go away, but reseating the connector, and hammering the brakes...........you'll be the Corvette Forum Hero.
Maybe you should search the code. Common problem with a known fix for an 03. Yes, you will have to pull the ebcm.
I have; but it surfaced last weekend while driving in the rain, so I was thinking that water may have gotten into the unit or at the plug. I've only got 29K on the car; seems rediculous that I'd have to rebuild the EBCM...but that's what it looks like. I'm not interested in cracking the unit open myself, but I've found a local vette shop here in So Cal that rebuilds them...not cheap though.

I get the feeling you did not read the link I provided. If yours is like many other, this is a cheap fix. The shop only need replace the relay. On the cheap, they only need to resolder the damn joints !

As a matter of fact, I did read it...I get it that I may just need to replace the relay or fix a cold solder joint. I'm not enthused that I need to do this on a car that has 29K...but sh*t happens. Thanks for the link. Now I just need to find the time remove this poorly made EBCM from my car, crack it open, and hopefully find the problem. That's why I'd just prefer to pay a shop to R&R a rebuilt one and get back on the road.

Not related to age, my 02Z w/15k had the issue
Used auction site seller (PM if you want more details). $50 and all is good. Do yourself a favor and buy the torx screwdrivers, one long , one short. Will make the R&R much easier.

Thanks Ed, I'm just always leary of the Ebay vendors...you just really don't know who you're dealing with. I'll hit you up for more details.
So last weekend I look to try and pull the EBCM, but my honker intake is kind of in the way. Well that honker isn't coming off for anything...it's fused to the car. I gave up before I broke my intake and/or MAF and decided it would be easier to get to the EBCM from the underside. I don't have a lift, so I made arrangements to use one today. I start the car this morning, the EBCM problem is obviously still there as it has been for many weeks. I run a qucik errand, come back out to the car, start it...and no more service ABS/AH/TC warning??
I've been driving the car around today, making short trips and stopping and starting the car multiple times...the issue has now corrected itself. It seems to me that maybe the relay was stuck, but is now working again? I guess I'll drive it and see if the problem comes back? Wierd...
