Default Vacuum Line/PCV help!!

So, I am wondering which vacuum lines I can remove and which ones (if removed) will cause problems..

1) vacuum line between passenger side valve cover and TB

2) vacuum line connecting intake manifold to both valve covers (this one is a joint piece of some kind connecting all 3 together).

I want to remove both. with this cause any problems? Just trying to clean up my engine since I have been working on it and the engine bay a lot lately.

Thanks in advance

What do you mean when you say "remove" them? Do you want to remove them so you can clean around them? Or do you want to remove them permanently?

Wanting to remove them permanently. If this means venting the system some other way (valve cover breathers, catch can, etc.) then I am fine with that. I know that emissions becomes an issue but I dont want to take emissions laws into account in this thread. just trying to understand what can be done from a healthy/functional engine perspective.

Change over to the LS6 PVC set up....I'm currently researching to see if the LS3 system will work as it's a little cheaper to go with.

This is your best and only option....LS2 and up don't have knock sensors in the valley cover. If you wanna clean it up, ya gotta go LS6.

Perfect! I appreciate it guys.. will be doin the LS6 conversion at some point soon.. Lastly, I am assuming I should keep the "clean" line running from the passenger valve cover to the TB then? or can I just throw a breather cap on the valve cover instead and cap off the holes for the valve cover to TB line??

I would say yes...that's the plan I'm going to follow.

Another question on this matter.. Is it "bad" for the engine or are there any associated problems with just removing the PCV system entirely and just putting in breather caps on either valve cover? actually would you only need one breather cap on the passenger side valve cover and be done with it? Trying to understand this more fully.

LS6 PCV set up is ~$150. If I really dont need it, I will just remove my current PCV set-up, install some breathers, and call it a day.
