Questions for TUBBED/WIDENED wheel guys....
Posting over here...I am currently in the progress of tubbing my 2001 coupe and has gone really easy so far. I just have a few questions and concerns about wheel offset and upper control arm clearance. I am running 19x11 ace slick with 63 offset. I am going to send the wheels to Weldcraft to have widened to 19x12. I already installed the LPE shock relocator kit, but even with the 19x11 wheel sitting on, it is still close to the upper control arm when car has no load on it(jacked up). Im afraid if I send my wheels off and have an inch added, it will hit the upper a arm. I thought that the LPE shock kit is suppose to solve this problem. I've done a lot of research on the topic before starting this, but am looking for info from guys that actually have ran into this. Any info will help guys... Thanks in advance. * *

I run a a 18 x 12 with a 345/35/18 with a +74mm offset.
No shock mod.
At full suspension droop to remove the wheels, the inside wheel just touches the upper A arm. No issues though
Rides fine and did my tub to keep it all stuffed inside the 1/4.

Ok cool. I know with the 19x12's guys don't have nearly the problem with upper control arm clearance like some of the 18x12 guys... After some measuring I'm still going to be very close.... Thanks for the replies
