I know that this is a common problem, but I have gone through this several times now! Lucky I am still on my extended warranty, but I am worried that it is coming to an end and that I may have a more serious problem! All comments and suggestions welcome! Thanks....
My guess is that you have a BROKEN BELLVELLE spring which will allow that output shaft to have some additional slop. Jack up one wheel and ATTEMPT to rotate it. (TRANS in N and parking brake off) IF,, all is well inside the rearend, you will have a VERY DIFFICULT time rotating that wheel. If the clutch disk are weak/worn and or that spring is broken. it will be easy to rotate;

Do the vent TSB ... I put an open vent/filter on my differential and my oil leakage stopped. The Micky Mouse vent on these differentials stick, and pressure builds up inside the differential than makes the vent puke and/or the seals leak.
Very interesting, I will check this before I go back to the stealership! Still under warranty for the next two months but rather fix what I can myself.
