Hy!

I´m writing from Austria in the Europe,
maybe somebody can give me some informations or help!?

I have a C5 automatic transmission and I´m interested
to change into a C6 6-speed automatic transmission with battle shift.

Is it a lot of work?
Is it easy to do?
And what did i need for that project?!
Is it good to do that?!

You'd be replacing far more than just the transmission. Even if you could get it to bolt up you'd never get the wiring figured out. Based on what I've seen it'd be cheaper to sell your C5 and get a C6 with the trans you want already in it. If you want to shift through six gears in your C5 convert it to a manual trans.

The electronics to make everything to work properly is FAR MORE COMPLEX that what you would think. You need a transmission computer and all the wiring for it and a C6 ECU. The C5 PCM is not compatable.


The new/used C6 plan would be a LOT better!

Could you not use an auxillary controller? There are several on the market.
C6 cradle bolts in.
C6 diff fits as well.
The trans just might be too large though. they are huge.
