muffler ideas

Aloha gang,
I have a 01 6 speed, big cam, headers, other stuff too. I have straight pipes with gutted cats. Looking for ideas to put in some small bullet style mufflers right near the end of the exhaust.after the axle. Right now I have the Borla muffler eliminaters that come over the axle and straight to the rear bumper. No side bends. Pics and ideas would be great. Right now I'm thinking of some small bullet mufflers from ebay that would fit right under the bumper cutout where the tips are.

I put Borla XR1 multicore bullets in my Straight pipes, sounds mean and smooth no rasp at all.

Kool. I'll look those up. Where in the exhaust piping did you put them?

Can you post a pic? I have a big cam, headers and no cats, no mufflers, trust me there's no rasp or truck sound, sounds just like a NASCAR. Just need to quiet it down a bit.

after the over axle comes down and goes straight, used the tips from the striaght pipes. PM your email and ill send some pics.
