Default X Pipe resonators?

Is there enough room to weld a couple of resonators or glass pack style mufflers into the x/h pipe? I think my new setup will be too loud and it would be a hell of a lot cheaper to add something like this than to buy a new axle back system.

Not sure, but I would be concerned with ground clearance - the bottom of the car in that area is pretty flat and low to the ground.

Yes.

That's basically the exhaust that I have, the Magnaflow "Magnapack" system, which has straight pipes axle back, and 2 resonator style mufflers and an X pipe right after the cats.

Now, as far as the spacing of whatever X/H pipe you have, I'm not sure that you can fit resonators/mufflers without doing quite a bit of chopping and re-welding. Also, on the magnaflow system you have to cut off the flanges behind the cats and weld the mufflers directly behind them. So the fitment is close. The mufflers stick out about 1/8" to 1/4" of an inch below the frame of the car. You could probably make it flush if you take your time and mount it carefully.

Also, glass packs sound like crap on corvettes. Theres a few videos of them on youtube. I really like the sound of my system though, and its only ~$600 and includes the X-pipe.

I did. These are stainless Pypes 3" straight through with a stainless mesh core. I have Borla stingers and I knew it would be too loud. I built this myself, in my garage. The muffs are 4" in dia and 18" long. About $50 ea from Summit.

Unfortunately I didn't get any photos of it all finished. Photos are from mocking it up. But it fits well, doesn't hang down, and it sounds excellent! Nice rumble, way cool when on it, and almost silent at cruise.

My Headers/X are XS power, and were used.

I go the idea from that same Magnaflow setup mentioned earlier because that is what was on my car when I bought it.

LOL Yeah I have the Stingers installed and I'm about to get some catless headers, so I thought it would be too loud and unpleasant sounding. ZO6 exhaust would be fine, but that's another $400 or so. This way I could maybe save money and have a more unique sound with something in the x pipe and the stingers.

Thanks! I kind of have a thing for custom exhaust systems.
