I'll give Carbotech pads a Desperate for some pads I called Adam up and he hooked me up with some great pads. He also gave me some great advice on some good rotors to buy and the best place to buy them. Now that's great service. A great product with great service to boot.

From street use to the higher performance demands of track days, we'll help you achieve better brake modulation, torque and fade resistance. High-tech construction means better stopping power and a higher level of driver confidence every time you get behind the wheel.

Carbotech brakes utilize a ceramic and metallic construction in a range of compounds that out-perform competitive brakes. Carbotech brakes are made from compounds that offer higher initial bite, torque and fade resistance—providing consistent brake modulation and performance over a wide range of operating temperatures.

We have no issue in rain I presume this is your DD? So, you would want to use the 1521 compound.

The Carbotech™ 1521™ is our high performance street compound. The 1521™ compound is known for its release and modulation, along with unmatched rotor friendliness. 1521™ is also a very low dusting and low noise compound with an excellent initial bite. This compound's excellent linear torque production provides incredible braking force without ABS intervention. Carbotech™ 1521™ operating range starts out at ambient and goes up to 800°F (426°C+). 1521™ is suitable for ALL street cars, perfect for your tow vehicle or fleet vehicle. Carbotech™ 1521™ is NOT recommended for ANY track use.

I will help you determine the perfect brake pad compound for your car and your style of driving. Carbotech brakes are designed to allow you to “Go Deep!” while being particularly rotor friendly and contain 100% non-corrosive brake dust.

I purchased a set of 1521's from you a little over a year ago and just got around to installing them along with new Baer Decelarotors last weekend. Previously I had been running another set of Decelarotors with Hawk Street Pads (that were doing a number on my chrome wheel barrels).

I already notice how much "quieter" the CarboTechs are!
