Default Replaced Broken Actuator, Still Hot with same codes B0361 and B0441 codes

Folks, I need some advice please. Any help and input would be appreciated. I know this has been covered before but after reading many posts, I am still having trouble. Some time back I started getting two codes, “B0361, B0441” and the driver side AC was blowing hot air. I used the search tool and found many post on the same trouble. It was my intent to index the actuator as suggested in several posts. When I removed the actuator and took it apart, I found the larger gear to be broken and misaligned. The misalignment of the gear teeth was so pronounced that it made it impossible for the gear to rotate. I ordered a new actuator and installed it. The new part did move but would not close the gate all the way. The passenger side still works fine and fully adjusts. The driver side gate does not cycle all the way down so I still have hot air on the driver side. The same codes keep coming back even after clearing them several times and restarting the car. Each time the AC cycles the gates and the codes come back as history codes B0361H & B0441H. I have repaired the original actuator gear and plan to reinstall it tomorrow. I don’t know if it will work but I am going to give it a try. Attached is a picture of the broken gear.
The plus to this adventure is that my HUD had dropped over a year ago and I fixed it while I was in there. It would be in the way of the AC work so I have not reinstalled it but I know it will work.

Update:
The new part is in and working correctly.
Freon level checked and correct.
Thanks to all those who have posted on this trouble in the past.
Thanks to those that sent PM's and offered suggestions for the fix.
HUD is working and fully adjustable.

I wonder if they sold you the wrong actuator. Check the numbers. They liik the same but will not function if its the wrong one.

Good job on the hud and gear fix!!

This post has alot of good information for you (read all of it).
Please, always look for the simple things first.
It is very easy to check the Freon level before you start taking things apart.
