So thanks to this forum, I fixed my battery draining problem by pulling fuse #4 scm-l in my 99 corvette. Based on what I read I thought this was the power seat module switch for the left hand side. Apparently it is not because my power seats still work. So I must need to replace something else?? Problem is I do not know what is not working, everything seems to be ok.
I am having some trouble with the schematics versus description of operation in the FSM but I will work through it. I need you to pull your codes and let's see what you have and if any are related to the seats, that could help.
Also, need to know if you have Memory seats and if so: with or without Telescoping steering wheel.
Please double check to make sure you pulled Fuse 4 and not Fuse 3 for the Passenger side (I know it says Lumbar but it is for the PS).
I am going to PM you with my phone number so we can talk if you want to. I like doing that when diagnostics get difficult. I can also send you schematics if you want/can read them. Mr. Sam
PS: When you say you can move the seats with Fuse 4 pulled, do you mean you can move it manually or you do it using Memory (assuming you have Memory).
The owners manual has a numbered listing of the fuses which indicates what is powered by each fuse. Separate listing for under hood or passenger floor locations.
I have enlarged the fuse diagrams from the owners manual to 11" x17" and hand written the designation for each fuse or relay on the enlarged diagrams. I keep a copy in the glove box and with the FSM.

I am home, and my OM says 4 is the driver's side SCM and, as you said, 3 is the lumbar. So is the OM wrong and 3 is actually for the right seat?? Pulling both should inactivate the driver's seat and passenger seat....right?
I am staying 100 feet away from my right foot well !! Want to avoid bad dreams and panic attacks !!
