Default Cooling fans won't come on

I just bought a 2002 convertible and my wife brings it home saying it is running a little hot. Well I popped the hood and neither fan is working. I checked the fuses and all seem to be good. Used a voltmeter to verify. I'm thinking it is a relay anybody that can lend me a hand, I would really appreciate it. It is common to both, Ground issue?

What do you consider Hot? I have a 187 degree t-stat in mine and it takes along time b/4 the fans come on

The temp gauge hit 220 and climbing, no fans even after I turned off ignition

There are three fuses and three relays in the undehood fuse box that control the cooling fans. Fuse numbers 14, 46, 49. Relays numbers 43, 44 and 45. The fans should come on low speed at about 215 degrees and high at 225 degrees.

Maybe someone with the schematic will chime into this post.

My car the low speed fan comes on at 226, then off at 219 I believe, I have read high speed comes on at 235 and back to low at 226.

I have the schematic but you apparently haven't checked the fuses and relays yet. If I need to scan and post I can do that. This is how the system works:

Factory temp settings are low speed on at 226 degrees and off at 219 degrees. High speed on at 235 degrees and revert to low speed at 226 degrees. Both fans run at low speed and high speed and fans are commanded off by the PCM when the vehicle speed exceeds 35mph.

You can force low speed operation at 185 degrees by turning on the AC. High speed operation with AC on is still 235 degrees.

Those on temps sounded low to me too. I got the numbers from alldata. I tried before to copy and paste schematics, no luck, only can do it with text. My apologies if the numbers were incorrect.
