Are 37 & 45 flares identical except for the angle of the second flare?
My 37 and 45 deg double flare kits appear to be identical except for the angle of the anvil used to make the second flare. Are there any differences in a 37 vs. 45 double flare other than the second flare?
I ask because I just got an in-line tool for 45 deg, it makes perfect bubbles. I am wondering if I can use it for the bubble and then my other cheeseball typical flaring tool for the 37 degree second flare.
The inline tool is amazing, $24 at autozone, and never an off center bubble and second flare is dead center every single time...I sure wish I could find the same tool in 37 deg.
* I am not asking about a 37* AN flare. Really just wondering if the button dies or bubbles are different.
