Hi folks,
I have just ordered a nitrous system from TByrne. I noticed that they suggest on their web site that you use a colder spark plug when using nitrous.
Two questions: if running a 100 shot is this necessary? And, if I go to a colder plug will this affect my normal performance when not using nitrous?
Tgeers , i have little to no experience with N2O..But i did read a recent post from DSK888 and he mentioned that he was running into problems becasue he had NOT installed colder plugs..and he is running a 100 shot.
So i would say go with the cooler plugs and avoid any possible problems.
I would definately put some tr-6's in there. I had them when I was using the procharger and left them in after I put the car back to stock (kind of forgot to swap them) and never had any issues after 5000 miles when I traded the car in.
