Default Can't separate EBCM from pump assembly

I posted this thread in the Z06 threads but no help. Now I'm hoping reaching out to all C5 owners I will find someone who's been in this situation. I can not separate the module from the pump assembly.
I am afraid of breaking the pump assembly and or the module so I can't use it again after it is fixed.

This is as far apart as I can get it. I have been prying on it with a screwdriver going from side to side. However it's about done moving. I am bending the pump assembly a bit much and I am afraid that I am just doing this wrong. Please advise.

both connectors are unplugged and all 6 torx bolts are removed?... if so it should just slide apart... try pushing it back together and pulling it apart again

I will give that a try and see if it works. I was under the impression that the module wouldn't be connected to the pump assembly. The cylinders or pistons are stuck. I will post tomorrow what luck I have pushing it back together.
Yes the first thing I did was remove the 6 torx screws.

you're right, once the bolts and connectors are removed there is nothing else holding it together so it should just slide apart... it could just be a little tight due to old age and all the heat cycles it has been through... try wiggling it a little (but not too much) from top to bottom and side to side instead of pulling straight off... and check to make sure there is nothing else in the way that's keeping it from coming out

I went out and checked it out after work. It is wedged in there. It's stuck because it's out uneven more at the top where I can get my hands in there. I tried with a 3lb hammer to tap the top back and get it even. Zero results.
I am going to remove the fan and open up some room. I'll do my best to get the module even and try to wiggle it off.

no problem... I'm assuming it's coming off to replace the relay or fix the solder joints?... are you going to do that repair or send it off?

I have this from ebay to replace it and then I will repair the one coming off the car for future use.

I went to Walmart and bought WD40 300004. Their deep penetrating lube. I'll spray it down then get the front of the car up in the air.
