My Z06 is 9 months old. Started the car up cold, drove for a few miles yesterday, then stopped to get gas. When I started it back up, the driver information center displayed a message...."active handling warming up".
I thought wth is this, I have never seen or heard of this message before. Then a minute later it displayed...."active handling warm up complete".
Can anyone tell me what this apparent anamoly is? Thanks.

My firend has a Z06 and he mentioned that he would have to drive around the back of the parking lot before he could go on the autocross grid or it wouldn't be warmed enough to compete! I wonder if this is a GEN II active handling tait. I have Gen I on a 2000 and have never seen this?
Re: Strange DIC message on Z06.... (Ctfoodguy2000)
Thanks for the info. I guess when all else fails, read the owners manual! It's funny though, why I would get this message for the first time after almost a year of driving it.
I get this message if right after I start her up, I start driving in a path with multiple turns, like in a parking garage or circular parking garage exit. I think that the active handling can only calibrate if you are driving in a straight line, and not turning.
that happens when you start the car and the wheels are not staight....the steering positioning sensor needs the wheel straight to get its mind right :)
