Cam and crank timing marks PLEASE HELP!!!!
When removing the cam some say crank and 6 o'clock and cam at 12 and then some say 6 and 6 which is it and some say put crank and 12 cam at 6 then rotate one full revolution

Don't listen to SBC guys. This is a different animal.
After you have them set. Rotate the crank over (by hand) a few times to ensure your not a tooth off.

No matter which you use, rotate a few turns after to ensure they come back to the same position and you are good with the alignment.

Actually, either will alignment will work. With the crank at 12 and the cam at 6, you are at TDC firing of cylinder #6. With the crank at 12 and the cam at 12 you are at TDC firing of cylinder #1. For the chain installation, it doesn't matter which you use but 12 and 6 is a little easier to see when lining them up.

MAKE SURE that you use RED LOCKTITE on the Cam Bolts!!!!!
