Could someone please tell me what 10-PCM PO442 is. I can find 441 and 461. I get it intermittenly along with check engine lite. Thanks.

here is the best website for diagnosing codes----They also include simple things to look for as well as technical stuff----
http://www.gearchatter.com/viewtopic10340.php

PS: I suspect a bad gas cap----Never guy an aftermarket gas gap as they are most often multi-fit and won't seal----Get a GM replacement from the dealer---

There is a fat black rubber O ring inside the fuel cap. That O ring gets old and CRACKS. That is what usually causes that DTC. Look at the O ring seal and if its cracked, just get a new one.

I agree.. There are other thing that can cause that DTC but start there and report what you find.

You didn't say what year your car is. There was a fuel system problem on some 2004's that can cause P0442. There was a service bulletin and an extended warranty issued to cover those who experienced the failure.

These are the VIN#s included affected 45110258 to 45125500

Make: CHEVROLETModel: CORVETTE

Year: 2004

Manufacturer: GENERAL MOTORS LLC

Service Bulletin Number: TB-10150Date of Bulletin: AUG 01, 2010

NHTSA Item Number: 10034684

Component: FUEL SYSTEM, OTHER:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY

Summary: CADILLAC\CHEVROLET SERVICE CAMPAIGN: SEE DOCUMENT SEARCH BUTTON FOR OWNER LETTER. A FUEL TANK LEAK AT QUICK CONNECTORS THAT ARE USED TO LINK THE LEFT AND RIGHT FUEL TANKS. IF LEAK BECOMES LARGE ENOUGH, A SMALL AMOUNT OF FUEL MAY BE OBSERVED DRIPPING ON THE GROUND. CSC LETTER WAS RECEIVED. *PE

Here is a very long thread addressing the issue:
