Default c6 wheels on c5

I bought a set of c6 factory wheels and tires off of a 2013 grand sport for my 1999 c5. When I put the rear wheels on they look a little close to rear inner fender well. But they do clear. I'm wondering if they will scrub inner fender when rear suspension flexes?

I run 1/4" spacers and they are small and still let you get the lugs on safely. I don't trust a spacer more than 1/4" with stock studs.

It will also depend on tire size, I had slight rubbing on mine with 335 nitto NT05s so i ended up needing to pick between a small "tub" or wide fenders and spacers.

A 1" wheel adapter will make it right. That's what I did on my c5.

Did you have to trim the lugs on your hubs in order to get the adapter to fit, i.e. for the lugs to clear the plate of the wheel?
