Haven't started yet but acquiring what I need. What is the tool called for removing door trim? A pic might help. Anything else I should get that is not an ordinary tool? Thanks

Thanks, I'll ask a friend who used to do body work if there is anything special or different for the Corvette. Nothing I hate worse than to go into any kind of store and not know the proper name for something I want to buy.

Check Amazon for Astro 4524 Auto Fastener and Molding Removal Tool Set, 11-Piece; I bought this set 2-3 years ago for a similar project to what you're planning. It's inexpensive, has pretty much every tool you'll need, and it's good quality.

Much appreciated, I just got the insulation kit and now waiting for Dr. to allow me to....do anything. Had 4 vertebrae in my neck fused and itching to get going on the car.

I used this set from Harbor Freight. Worked fine.

Might be good idea to grab a couple door pins just in case!

Thank you very much. That saves me a lot of time. On the other hand doc says 6 more weeks with neck brace and lift no more than 5 lbs. so I have some to to prepare.
