Simply...they work...i set them to 31.5 inches long...the car literally have no sound at 1600 rpm...little resonance between 2500-3000 rpm...but not laud...at idle u can barely tell difference from stock mufflers...I drove it for a wile with straight pipes ,the difference is night and day.ow yes and those are couple cherry bombs ,I had them so I figured it wouldn't hurt.

Interesting, did these raise your interior resonance?

Its actually a lot quiet then I told...on the freeway cruse speed u cannot tell it's not stock...it is not possible to not get resonance before the engine opens up,the resonance starts coming at about 2300 to 3000 rpm and it's in its very normal state, any other rpm range is great,j pipe length it set for cruse up hill 75 mph 6 gear floor it there is no drone...I know every one is skeptical cose they got burned spending money on drone aftermarket systems but trust me it's the way to go...all non droning systems have this closed chamber in the muffler to prevent drone...if u look at stock muffler cutout the very end of it is closed chamber to cancel sound

The way I see it this is 2 chamber muffler with big and small chamber to cancel tone in different rpm range...first chamber is smaller cose the exit pipes live in it...and if u look at zo6 muffler there is another little closed area

Look at the small chamber connected to big rear chamber.ow and here is the time to say that bypass mode is so wrong whoever came up with it have no clue of how exhaust works

Here is pic of system Installed...I will take better pics wen on the rack...and example of dual resonator on intake side...basically if u have room u can T another pipe shorter to cancel sound at higher rpm

Here is 5 gen Camaro muffler...like the person that posted the photo sed if u have this muffler there is really no reason to change it cose it's straight thru design already unlike c5 one.

Intake tubes...with 2 resonator chambers...each one cancels sound at different rpm...smaller for high rpm and bigger for low

More pics , the biggest pain in the neck was to line up the tips...something else to add to all this is that j pipes create backpressure there for they change the overall sound of the car

Its hard to tell from you picture but are the ends capped? Yours look open in the pic. I looked in Helmholtz resonators a few months as I want a high pitched exhaust and want to eliminate low end frequencies. I though the J pipes had to be capped to bounce the waves back causing them to cancel out.

I caped them after I took the picture :-) Used 2.3/8 galvanized freeze plug fits snug and just put 3 weld dots on it in case I need to alter length

Yep. This is very similar to the Corsa Extreme layout. It works.

Not very raspy high pitch sound, more like tamed down low mid tone.I will try to make video this weekend...I think had I used stainless steel for j pipe and stinger stainless muffler,it would be more raspy...but this was a budget build,I have a little boy thats hungry :-)

It works-I had similar hemholtz resonators on a Solo Catback w/ a shoebox size muffler on my modded 09 G8 GT w/ long tubes/no cats. If it kills the drone you are on to something!
