Default Trailblazer SS intake manifold

Does anyone know first hand how much taller a TBSS intake is compared to the LS6?

I have a raised hood but would like to avoid buying it to find out if it'll fit.

I don't know about height, but if it's basically a LS2 intake, you'll need a adapter harness, and supposedly they don't flow as well as a LS6 mani.

Sorry for the 2&1/2 year bump, but this needs to be corrected and I also would like to hear feedback on TBSS intake on a C5.

It will not fit under the cowl. The intake is the best of the OEM cathedral port intakes. If you are willing to cut the cowl, it might fit with the modifications required to fit a Hi Ram in a C5

I would save my money on the hood and get a FAST 92 or 102.

I have read somewhere that the LS6 intake is about 6-1/4" tall. Here is some info here on the much taller TBSS manifold;
