Service Charging System
We have a 98 C5 corvette. We have replaced alternator and battery with gm parts. Soon as you start the vehicle it displays "service charging system" clear the message and drive, about 10-15 minutes into driving it, it will display the same message ago. Everything from the alternator and battery test perfect in range even when the message was displayed. Any known issues with this for the C5's? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Very well known issue. Lots of threads discussing it. Hopefully you can get your core back from where you purchased your alternator. It's best to have the alternator rebuilt rather than replaced due to this issue.
