Rocker upgrade?

stock rockers are fine, just upgrade the trunions and you should be good to go... not really sure on their power limit, for what it's worth I've made 800+ on stockers

You asked about rockers, but are talking high horsepower. For the record, the need for different rockers is not related in any way to HP. If you go to aftermarket heads with bronze guides, stock rockers should be replaced with rockers where the sides loads can be minimized or you will be facing high valve guide wear. So if that is the case, than you may need to re-evaluate as other parts are selected. You can have different guides installed so stock rockers can be used however.

I am using stock 243 heads but putting all new internals. Replacing all but valves. Was asking about the rockers to see if I really need to replace them with something better. The cam will be a street strip blower cam. Not sure what the specs will be but springs, rollers, and push rods will be changed.
