Default Long tube headers on lowered Z-06

Want to put some long tube headers on my Z-06. Looks to be lowered atleast 1 3/4 inch maybe more. Previous owner did this and I absolutely love how the cars stance is and don't want to change any of that. I'm concerned long tube headers are gonna cause me a lot of headaches down the road. Is there any certain brands headers that offer more clearance than others? What headers are you lowered guys running? I don't really want to go with shortys either, thanks

I would go with Kooks, very good quality made is the US not China also. Very good people own and run the Company. Yes when pulling out of certain areas you will have to take it a little slow but all in all well worth it, go for it.

I've had 2 sets of lg's on my car, 1 3/4's and now 1 7/8's and I haven't had any issues with scraping... I don't think there was even a mark on the collectors when I got rid of the old ones... my experience with lg's customer service is also the opposite, they have been good to me... kooks and arh are the other 2 brands I would consider running, honestly I don't think you would have issues with any of those

Mine is lowered on drop spindles, so 1" lower with Kooks full 3 all the way back. It only rubs on those roads where the pavement is worn down in the tire path and the center is high.

Can't really say anything about the product or service since the previous owner installed them.

I'm kind of the "car guy" among my friends, and ive installed 4 headers on 4 vettes, from 3 different vendors.

i think you're safe on everything from LG, AR, and OBX (cheap chinese) except for the brackets, and if you're welding those, its a moot point. i welded all of the brackets except for where the cats are, and i damn well might weld those to remove that bracket, too.
