1999 c5 1-2 & 3-4 shift solenoid question
1999 c5 corvette stock tranny
i am changing the 1-2 shift solenoid and the 3-4 under the pan
of the tranny, i took these out very very carefully, these are identical solenoids.
first solenoid felt a little loose took it out, little fluid came out.
2nd solenoid was tight pulled it out,a little fluid came out, and there is a little spring loaded plug that peeked out.
i feel no spring loaded plug behind the 1st solenoid is it possible its stuck?
i can put my finger in there and feel nothing.
nothing came flying out of the hole i watched carefully.
is 1 spring plugged and and the other not?
anyone have a part breakdown of the is area?
any help here would be greatly appreciated.
