I got to drive my friends C6 Z06 today, and I just got to say WOW! That was brutal! If my blown C5 will be even close to that when finished, I will be happy

Thanks for your patience, Doug. My patience with my installer is wearing thin... He has promised me the car ready before easter. We will see....

Our base kit can max out octane in pump gas without a cam.

Your last sentence.. well we will just have to respectfully agree to disagree.

Finally the installation of the ECS kit has started, and hopefully I will be on the road during next week . One thing that came up when they started was that they said that is was "insanely" much more work to replace the harmonic balancer than to just get the old one pinned. We have agreed on a price for the installation of the kit, but I will be charged in addition for the replacing of the HB. What should I accept i terms of extra hours?

You must be getting frustrated by your installer. I did mine, and included a cam swap, new pulley,(pinned) in a couple of weekends in my little garage. A clutch change was more difficult for me.
