Default 2004 C5 struts/shocks

I have a 2004 C5 Standard Coupe with a 6 speed and the Z51 suspension option. It does not have magnetic ride control. GM OEM struts/shocks are no longer available. I was wonder what kind of shocks people have used for replacement. Most of my driving is on highways. No track and very little in town. I would still like it to handle corners good. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

Standard Bilstein B6 shock is more than adequate for your stated use. There are many to choose from, I've used both the Sachs and Bilsteins with good results.
