Which Brisk Spark Plugs do you run in your n/a Stock c5?
Just wondering, which model of Brisk spark plug do you run in your n/a stock C5? GOR15LGS (non tapered) vs. GOR15LGS-T (tapered)? Thanks.

I learned a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOG time ago that fancy plugs and expensive plug wires DO NOT ADD HP!
However, some aftermarket plugs do work better in other than OEM applications. Like,, BOOSTED Engine applications or big cam high compression engines.
Just asking.

ouch, $12 a pop... at $1.80 each my tr6's work fine at 800rwhp so I don't see why anything this extreme would be needed in a stock application

A ricer speed shop opened in my area a few years ago. They had a grand opening sale and I decided to stop by and see what they had.
The owner tried to sell me some NOLOGY wires and some weird NOLOGY plugs. Total cost for the wires and plugs. $400.
YEP, the stock GM Performance wires and some TR6s are doing the job just fine!

My CMC race car got new AC Delco/Delphi Opti, coil, ICM, plug wires, and knock sensor a couple years back. It gets single platinum plugs once a year and it puts down 290/330. Not bad for a stock LT1 with a cone filter and manifold back exhaust. Stock stuff in an LS goes 100k, I just don't see the point in "upgrading". Z06 rocks Iridiums and GMPP wires.

I tune cars at a local dyno shop.
Mostly late model Dodge Hemi's.
The boss uses Brisk plugs. The Hemi takes 16......
His profit margin is quite large.
I think they suck!

Hi Bill,
From my experience influence of spark plugs:
- Below 100hp/liter NA insignificant or minimal
- From 100hp/liter NA to 150hp/liter NA important
- From 150hp/liter NA and above cannot be dissociate from engine combustion law.

Some of the performance plug wires are a joke too, I compared the resistance once on a new versus an old one with 60,000 mi and 6 years old and the same length and the original GM wire was still way better resistance wise than the hot dog wires. They weren't as pretty though and that means a lot I guess. I bought into that stuff too though back then but I'll never use any other plug in modern vehicles other than the ones that came with it from the factory, too many other variables with resistance and ect. for a mostly stock vehicle.
