How often to change valve springs on z06 DD?
Question regarding valve springs, how often do you change them on a DD car?
I have an '03 Z06 with 36K miles and with, as far as I know, stock valve springs (they look grey/silver).
What's a good replacement for a stock car?

Seems like a lot of failures with 2002 & 2003's
Just Put in New GM springs
I am going with the ones from BTR - Brian Tooley
Doing Springs(.560 lift capable), Ti Retainers & Seals
Mine has 115k Old man miles on it, but 2000 didn't seem to have
the spring problems like your year
Better to do it as preventative maint, than drop a valve

Stock GM springs in 2002 were yellow. Current springs are blue.
I replaced mine with a yellow GM set about 8 years ago. I see no reason to go aftermarket. I plan on putting in a fresh set of blue springs this year.

If not, that would be great as I wouldn't need to do anything.

What is suggested mileage range to change the blue springs out on an LS6 DD. I have 130K miles on my blue springs with LS6 cam. Has any one broken a blue spring with a stock LS6 cam?
