So, I got my sound dampening kit in, gutted the interior, installed kit, re assembled interior. The battery drained during this procedure. Had the battery charged, all is good with it. I now have the "Service Ride Control" message on the dic. Anyone know why? My gas door button will not function now either (will disassemble the console and make sure it's hooked up correctly tomorrow. I did disconnect and reconnect the Ride Control and fire it back up with the same message.
Could it have anything to do with the TPMS? I had aftermarket wheels on it, then I got some stock C5 with Factory TPMS. I ordered the magnet to program them, but I cant get them to recognize. Prior to all of this, the DIC would say "Service TPMS", now it only says "Service Ride Control" No error codes are showing on my code reader.
No codes are showing on my code reader. I did in plug the wires in the left rear cubby to remove the carpet and install the dampening kit. I will go unplug them and inspect them again tomorrow. The fuel door switch really has me confused.
I HAD aftermarkets on it, I now have stock C5 wheels from a 2002 with TPMS. I verified they all worked prior to the swap. So the TPMS are factory. The magnet I got SHOULD do the trick, but nothing. I wonder if the Ride Control error is keeping them from activating?
