Depressing 1/4 mile time 12.8

Looking at the dyno sheet I noticed that hp&tq lines are crossing below 4700rpm, my tuner told me that hp&tq lines no matter what mods done will always cross at 5250 or 5280 (if I remembered correctly) and any dyno graph that shows different isn't accurate. He said that's a good sign that numbers have been manipulated to achieve desired results, not accurately measured.
Maybe someone else has heard of this?

If I improved my 60ft time my times would be different.

edit: Oh, and if you really want to be depressed over your 1/4 mile times, bring your car here to Bandimere and see what happens ...

I run a dyno dynamics dyno.
Two things from that photo.
See where it says Brand X after the ho number?
That causes the readout to mimic a Dyno Jet.
We never use that feature....
The curves should cross at 5250. They don't in this photo because they had the dyno in "roller" mode and didn't bother to calibrate the cars tach and speedo to the dyno rollers.
Roller mode always shows better numbers.
Normally you would read rpm from an injector lead, and run the dyno in normal mode.

It always gets me when someone takes a road car out and tries to make it into a drag car.
This car was not meant to do 1/4 mile, it was meant to do motorcross......
Yea it's fast, but you are trying to change it's purpose.
That takes a lot of money and time.
