Default Aeromotive Stealth 340 intank pump HELP

This project is really kicking my ***. First was two hours to get the factory pump out of the canister and now I am not getting anything at the rail when I turn the ignition. I can hear the pump prime for a second or two and then I get nothing for fuel pressure at the rail. I took everything out of the car to make sure the pump was wired properly and tested it with my drill battery and it was moving fuel. Am I missing something here? I put it in the same way the factory pump came out and I don't even have extra parts. I thought I might have read previously guys putting extra holes in their canister. Is that something I need to do ?

How many times have you tried to prime it? It takes a few times to get the fuel back to the rail

Probably about 20. It's built up to about 8 lbs at the rail

One other idea. Check the pins on the connector both male and female sides

I pulled the entire assembly out and put power to the harness that's directly attached to the pump and I put power to the harness that connects to the metal top end of the assembly. Applying power at both locations turned the fuel pump and the residual fuel that was in the sock came blasting out of the lines on the top of the assembly. Pretty much right into my direction. LOL

The only solution I can come up with is a fuel starvation issue. Maybe the canister isnt allowing fuel into the pump? Or maybe I need more than 3 gallons of gas in the car? I can trigger the secondary pump and the car will get up to fuel pressure and start with no issues.

Try a little more fuel in the tank and If you have to take the pump back out of the canister use the feeler gauge method. It comes out easy that way

Well I'll be a monkeys uncle..... 6 more gallons of E85 that I was saving for a rainy day did the trick. Everything seems normal except what the fuel gauge reads.
