Default Battery Dead

Just had my battery charged early today. And it's dead already. Getting the clicking sound. Not sure what could drain it that fast.

Maybe a bad cell in the battery. It happens.

The battery needs to be tested with a load tester. Advance Auto and other suppliers will do it for free of you can buy a load tester at Harbor Freight and do it yourself. Even new batteries have been known to fail early.

It may not be drained. Did you check the connections at the battery posts? You may have a ground problem. That's the first thing I would do.

This! I just replaced an Optima that was only 6 years old....(piece of mind really), and the positive terminal was just a bit loose.

If the battery tests good after a complete charge, I would start by pulling the two seat circuit breakers in the passenger kick panel fuse center. Then do a battery drain test, there are numerous descriptions for testing for battery drain if you search "battery drain" in the tech section.
